Accessibility statement
We want every visitor to be able to get a quote, read our guides and reach us. Here's what we've done, where the limits are and how to tell us about a problem.
Effective
Our goal
We want everyone to be able to read our pages, start a quote and reach us, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, screen magnification, voice control or a phone held in one hand.
Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 (opens in a new tab) at Level AA, across every page of this website.
What we've built in
- A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page, and one main heading per page with headings in order.
- Full keyboard access, with a clearly visible focus outline on links, buttons and form fields.
- Colors chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast. White text on photos always sits on a dark overlay.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Labels on every form field. The quote starter on our pages is a standard HTML form.
- Main buttons and links at least 44 pixels tall, so they're easy to tap.
- Questions and answers built with native HTML disclosure elements that work with keyboards and screen readers.
- Animations reduced automatically when your device is set to reduce motion.
- Layouts that reflow on small screens and when you zoom in.
- Our phone number, email and address written as real text, never as images, so they can be read aloud, copied or tapped.
Known limitations
Some content comes from other companies and isn't fully under our control: the embedded Google Map on the contact page, and the insurance company websites, apps, payment pages, e-signature tools and PDF documents you may use after you apply. If any of these gives you trouble, call us and we'll help another way, such as going through a document with you by phone or sending the information in a format that works for you.

Technical details
The site is built with standard HTML, CSS and JavaScript and is designed to work with current versions of the major browsers and with common screen readers. Pages are rendered on the server, so the text, links and phone number are there even before any script loads.
