01The short version

• We collect what you choose to send us, plus basic page analytics that don't use cookies.
• Quote requests are emailed to our agency inbox so Brian or Dolores can call you back.
• For 30 days, the site uses a note in your browser about how you found us, and that note is sent only if you submit the quote form.
• We don't sell your personal information, and we don't give it to other companies for their own marketing.
• Once you apply for a policy, the insurance company's privacy notice also applies.

02Who we are

This website is run by Iriana Insurance Services, Inc., an independent insurance agency at 25060 Avenue Stanford, Suite 240, Valencia, CA 91355, licensed by the California Department of Insurance (license #0D44425). In this policy, “we,” “us” and “our” mean the agency.

This policy covers information collected through this website and the messages you send us from it. It applies from the effective date shown above.

03Information we collect

Information you give us

When you send the quote form, call, email or fax us, you share information such as your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code or street address, the coverage you're asking about, and details about the drivers, vehicles, home, rental property or business you want to insure. Share only what you're comfortable with. We can finish the details by phone.

How you found us (lead source)

To learn which ads, listings and websites bring people to us, the site notes how you arrived: campaign tags in the link you clicked (UTM tags), ad click identifiers (such as a Google or Facebook click ID), the domain of the website that sent you and the first page you landed on. This note is saved in your browser's local storage (under the name iriana_touch), and the site uses it for 30 days after that visit. If you send the quote form in that time, the note goes with your request, so we can see, for example, that it came from a Google search. It isn't sent to us unless you submit the form.

Page analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics, from our hosting company, to count page views and learn which pages are useful. It reports totals such as pages viewed, referring websites, browser, device type and approximate location, and it doesn't use cookies.

We may also use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to measure visits, taps on our phone number and quote requests. If we turn them on, they may set cookies and send usage data to Google under Google's privacy policy (opens in a new tab), and we'll update this page first.

Technical information

Like any website, our hosting company processes technical details such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and keep the site secure.

04How we use your information

• To answer your request, prepare quotes and call or email you about them.
• To send your details to insurance companies for quotes, and to the ones you decide to apply with.
• To service your policies: changes, renewals, documents and help with claims.
• To understand which of our marketing works, using the lead-source note and page analytics.
• To meet our legal and licensing obligations and to prevent fraud or misuse of the site.

05When we share information

• Insurance companies. When you ask us to quote or apply, we send the details they need to carriers such as Mercury Insurance, Travelers, Bristol West, Steadily, Obie and NEXT. They may order reports, such as a driving record or claims history, as part of their underwriting.
• Service providers. Web3Forms, a form-to-email service, delivers quote form answers to our agency email inbox, which is hosted by Google. Vercel hosts the website and provides the page analytics. They handle information to provide those services to us.
• When the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, the public or the agency.
• If the agency changes hands, client records would move to the new owner so your policies can still be serviced.

We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it with other companies for their own marketing.

06Cookies, local storage and embedded content

This site doesn't set cookies of its own. It stores two things in your browser: the lead-source note described above, which the site stops using after 30 days, and your quote form answers while you fill in the form (in session storage, so a reload doesn't erase them). The form answers are deleted when you send the form or close the tab. You can remove both at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

The contact page embeds a Google Map. When the map loads, Google receives your IP address and may set cookies, under Google's own privacy policy. Apart from that map, nothing on this site tracks you across other websites, so it works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

Images and fonts are served from this website itself, not loaded from Google Fonts or other outside services. Links to insurance company, payment and government websites take you to sites with their own privacy policies.

07Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you rights over your personal information. They include the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and get a copy of it.
• Delete personal information we hold, except records we need to keep to service a policy or meet a legal obligation.
• Correct personal information that is inaccurate.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We don't sell it or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising (ads based on your activity on other websites), and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as an opt-out request.
• Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We use it only to quote and service the insurance you ask for.
• Equal treatment: we won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.

The CCPA mainly applies to larger businesses, but we honor these requests from any California resident. To make a request, call (818) 909-7486 or email irianainsurance@gmail.com. We'll confirm your identity first, usually by matching details you've already given us, and respond within the time the law allows. You can also have an authorized agent make the request for you.

Some insurance information is also protected by California's Insurance Information and Privacy Protection Act and by federal law, which can limit how it is shared and what can be deleted.

08Insurance applications and policies

When you apply for a policy, the insurance company collects and uses your information under its own privacy notice, which it gives you with the application or policy documents. We keep copies of quotes, applications and messages in your client file for as long as we need them to service your policies and meet our legal obligations, then delete or securely dispose of them.

09How we protect information

The site uses HTTPS encryption, and quote requests go to a password-protected agency inbox. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please don't put Social Security numbers, bank details or other highly sensitive information in the quote form or in regular email. When it's time to apply, we'll collect what the carrier needs by phone or through its secure application.

10Children

This site is meant for adults shopping for insurance. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

11Changes to this policy

If we change how we collect or use information, for example by turning on Google Analytics, we'll update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
